Presenters Lauri Lunde and Brooke Burton will give an overview of how state EMS data is used after it is submitted to the national EMS database. Participants will hear examples of how data is being used to change policy and procedures, apply for grant funding, and research being done using EMS data. Presenters will also share some statistics about how many times the NEMSIS dashboards and the public data set are accessed. Participants will gain a better understanding of how EMS data collection is making an impact to improve patient care nationwide!
